Does anyone know where the bartender,"Fernando" went after the closure??? Love that dude!!!

Awesome place, great food and despite the bad reviews I have never been treated badly. Kim is an awesome bartender

My first time here and Fernando is such an amazing bartender all his guest love him!! Great vibes and awesome music! I missed the food an I def will come back to try!!

Not going to lie. Looking at the reviews I was a bit hesitant to give Chuck Wagon a shot. The reviews are pretty hit or miss and when I see the words "food" and "poisoning" next to each other, it gives me pause. But this was the date's choice and who am I to say no? Fortunately my experience was very good! Located on 6th Street in Corona, Chuck Wagon looks like anything but when you see it. It's in a massive space which on the outside screams Mexican restaurant, which I'm told it was before. You have three parts (four if you include upstairs) consisting of the patio, bar and the dining room. We elected for the dining room because if I wanted drinks and loud music I wouldn't have been there to eat. It was empty but it let us seat ourselves and soon we were given the menu and waters. We went with the mozzarella cheese sticks, which were great. Freshly fried with very generous portions of ranch and marinara. For the entree I went with our server's recommendation which was the rib eye steak sandwich and man, this was a great sandwich. Thin, tender char grilled steak on a nice roll and fresh veggies I really enjoyed it. My GF got the massive bacon western cheeseburger and she only finished half. After eating the cheese sticks I would have struggled with that burger as well. She did say it was really good though! So yes, I would certainly eat at Chuck Wagon again. As others have stated it's certainly more bar than grill but the food was good and the dining room was nicely decorated, making for a pleasant meal. The bar side looked lively so it's probably a fun place for a beer and talk to some locals. Recommended!
